Letting go to let GOD

001

Allowing GOD to guide the path versus knowing every twist and turn there is.

Letting go is not easy. In today’s society we are all control freaks. We have to dictate when we wake up and when we lay down, as well as, everything that occurs in the in between time. But if the truth be told we are not in control at all. Think about it. How do our lungs know to keep inhaling and exhaling; sending the necessary oxygen into our bloodstream to keep our hearts pumping? Every breath is a blessing but too often we forget to acknowledge that we are not the dictators of our breaths.

To let go of our schedules, of our agendas, of our goals, of our ways, of all of us; fully and truly requires a level of courage that most are not capable of mustering on their own. Here is where faith must take over; and letting go to let GOD do HIS thing is ideal. How can we let go with ease and peace? We have to let go knowing that GOD is still in control. That GOD alone makes the sun rise on each new day and by grace alone, allows us the courtesy of a new breath. This is not a right but a gift. Luckily, we don’t have to pay for gifts!

Gifts like this should be appreciated and freely given back. To give our lives back to GOD is all HE truly desires. We give our lives back by forging rich relationships with our FATHER.

Relationship over religion is how we break free of the hold that society has on us to walk freely in the abundance of LOVE that GOD has supplied us with. Each of us is loved faithfully, perfectly, and truly for exactly who we are. When we let go of all that we think we know, we make room to learn the absolute truth, that CHRIST died for us to all have an opportunity to learn and grow. All we need to do is be willing. Are you willing to let go and let GOD have HIS way?

We’ve seen where our way has led us. Right into the enemy’s hands. Satan knows that his time is short (Rev 12) so he is doing all that he can, to take as many as he can down with him. GOD knows full well and allows us to choose. Our loving FATHER wants us to come to HIM willingly not by force. HE desires us to trust that HE knows better than we do and can guide our lives in the best way possible. HIS will, will be established whether we choose it or not. The hard way is to try to maintain control instead of surrendering. To let go could be seen as a sign of weakness, but in our weakness HE is strong. And all of our human strength is weakness compared to GODs strength. So really we are only fighting ourselves. We don’t have to, you know? We could be free…. let go & let GOD show you the life HE intended for us to live!!

“We can’t be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don’t have something better.” – C. JoyBell C.

“Even on my weakest days, I get a little bit stronger” – Sara Evans

“Sometimes the hardest part isn’t letting go but rather learning to start over.” – Nicole Sobon, Program 13
